Fees

Every fee Newport charges, and when.

Newport charges a small fee when you trade, and a share of the profit when a sell makes money. Creating wallets, planning launches, depositing and withdrawing SOL cost nothing extra. These are Newport's standard rates, read on 19 October 2026.

The fees

FeeRateWhen you pay it
Volume fee1.5%On every buy and sell you make in Newport, of the SOL in or out.
Profit fee3.5%On a sell that makes money, of its profit over what the sold tokens cost on average.
Claim fee5%Of the creator fees you claim, taken inside the claim.
Stealth fee0.5%On stealth funding, stealth deposits and stealth withdrawals.
Cleanup sellsFreeCleanup's own trades pay no volume or profit fee.
Referral withdrawalFreeNewport also pays the network fee.

When each one is taken

  • Your launch's own buys pay their volume fee in one transfer from your funding wallet after the launch, never inside Block-0. A launch in another currency pays none on its own buys; its sells pay as usual.
  • Trades on the live page and by strategies pay the volume fee in the same transaction. A sell with profit also pays the profit fee there.
  • A losing sell pays only the volume fee.
  • Claim shows the creator fees before the claim fee. What reaches your dev wallet is after it. See Creator fees and Claim.
  • Stealth moves show the fee before you confirm, as Fees in the deposit and withdraw windows.

An example

You buy for 1 SOL, and the volume fee is 0.015 SOL.

Later you sell those tokens for 2 SOL. The volume fee is 1.5% of 2 SOL: 0.03 SOL. Your profit on the sell is 1 SOL over what the tokens cost, so the profit fee is 3.5% of 1 SOL: 0.035 SOL. Newport takes 0.065 SOL from that sell.

If you sold them for 0.8 SOL instead, at a loss, you would pay only the volume fee: 0.012 SOL.

Group launches

The group's own buys at launch pay no volume fee. Each sell pays the volume fee and the profit fee, like any sell. The dev's cut of the members' profit is the dev's, not Newport's. Members see both on the group's page, under Dev cut · Fees. See How group launches work.

Fees that are not Newport's

Every trade also pays pump.fun's own fee, and every transaction pays Solana's network fee. Launches pay a bundle tip so their buys land first. Newport counts all of them in your P&L, but none of them goes to Newport. Privacy Swap shows its own fee under the rate before you swap.

Referrals

If someone joined with your invite link, you earn a share of the volume fee on their trades, paid out of Newport's part. They pay the same fee as anyone. See Referrals.
