Sniper Guard
Sniper Guard acts once during your launch if outside buyers spend more than the amount you set.
Snipers are traders who buy a new token in its first seconds. Sniper Guard adds up their buys while your own buys are still going out. When their buys reach the amount you set, it acts once, in the way you chose.
Before you start
- Sniper Guard is step 2 of Launch settings. A group launch does not have it.
- Stop holder buys and Sell holders need holder buys in your launch. See Who buys at launch.
- The Organic style turns Sniper Guard on for you. The other styles leave it off.
Turn it on

Switch on Watch for snipers
Sniper Guard starts to add up every buy from a wallet that is not yours. It watches from the moment your token is created until your last buy lands.
Set When outside buys reach
Enter the amount, in SOL (or in your launch currency). The default is 1 SOL. When the outside buys added together reach this amount, Sniper Guard acts.
Choose what it does under Then
Pick Stop holder buys, Sell holders or Sell all. The table below shows what each one does.
Add wallets under Never count (optional)
Paste the address of a wallet that will buy early on purpose, for example a friend's. Put one address on each line. Buys from these wallets never count. Your own wallets never count either.
What each choice does
All three skip the holder buys that are still to come.
| Choice | What it sells | Cleanup and After launch |
|---|---|---|
| Stop holder buys (default) | Nothing. | Still run. |
| Sell holders | Your holder wallets sell all their tokens. | Still run. |
| Sell all | Every wallet sells all its tokens, your dev wallet too. Bundle buys still to come are skipped as well. | Do not start. |
The sells go out as soon as your other buys have stopped.
Sell all sells every token your launch bought, from every wallet. This cannot be undone.
An example
Your launch has 20 holder buys, set to Spread out. Sniper Guard is on, with 1 SOL and Stop holder buys.
- Your token is created, and your holder buys start, one at a time.
- Three outside wallets buy for 0.3 SOL, 0.4 SOL and 0.5 SOL.
- After the third buy, outside buys add up to 1.2 SOL. That is more than 1 SOL, so Sniper Guard acts.
- Eight holder buys have already gone out. The other 12 are skipped, and you see "Sniper Guard stopped 12 holder buys".
Sniper Guard can only react after a buy lands, so the buy that reaches your amount is already in. It also acts only once, and only while your launch buys. After that, you trade from the live page.
Fewer chances for snipers
- Fast holder buys leave less time between your buys. Spread out looks more natural, but snipers can buy in between.
- Keep your token address private until launch. Anyone who has it can buy in your first block. See Best practices.
